Niki Singh has been working in upper limb and physical rehabilitation for 24 years in Durban, South Africa. Professionally Niki Singh has been past president and regional chair of the South African Society of Hand Therapists.Â
She is also a member of the South African Society of Hand Surgeons and presented hand therapy talks with them in the past. Together with a local hand surgeon, Niki cofounded, hosts and administers the KwaZulu-Natal hand webinar group that started during Covid lockdown in 2020, which is now expanding to another region in South Africa to provide talks/journal article or case study discussions for Occupational therapists and hand surgeons.Â
Due to her immense passion for promoting upper limb rehabilitation, talks on various topics have also been done for other professional bodies such as the OT/ PT societies in KZN, nursing groups, etc. Niki Singh has also been involved with lecturing to OT undergraduates in KZN, on various topics as per the curriculum.Â
